2018 GLOW Getter Gala
The GLOW Getter Project is dedicated to helping leaders remove negative patterns, commit to healthier leadership practices,
and enable them to dream again by inspiring new vision. New videos are posted every week on our YouTube channel,
which are designed to help you glow in every area of your life.
We believe the most impactful leaders inspire and empower other leaders.
Our mission is to not only to Grow Leaders of Worth, GLOW, but to honor those making a real difference in their lives and the lives around them.
This year we will be hosting the GLOW Getter Gala, a black-tie fundraising dinner, where each recipients of the GLOW Getter Award will be honored and the charity or organization of which they advocate for will be given $1000.00 in their name. One of the GLOW Getters, will be selected to receive the GLOW Getter of the Year Award, and will receive a Grand Prize for their specific cause.
Each recipient will be selected by the Nominations Review Board, and must meet the following eligibility requirements.
While we believe in inspiring and empowering all leaders, this year we are only honoring female GLOW Getters.
Nominees must be an advocate/volunteer for a specific organization to be the beneficiary of the donation in the Nominee’s honor.
The Nominee’s chosen/affiliated charity must qualify as an official 501(c)3 in good standing.
The beneficiary organization may not be designed to specifically advance any one religion or political position.
Only one individual from an organization can be nominated. If multiple individuals are nominated from the same organization, the Nomination Review Board will select which application to review.
The Nominee must accept their nomination, and commit to attending the GLOW Getter Gala in the fall of 2018 in Bowling Green, KY, to receive their award/donation. (Specific Date/Location: TBD)
If the Nominee is selected as a finalist, they must be willing to submit to a full investigation. A third party investigation firm will screen and vet all finalist and their organizations in a formal review process which substantiates their work.
While the Nominee’s cause may have a global impact, the represented organization must be founded in the United States.
The Nominee must live in the United States and be at least 21 years of age.
The Nominee must be and remain in good standing within the community.
Involvement – the Nominee’s personal efforts either by volunteering and/or fundraising for their desired cause.
If the Nominee is an employee, the Nominee’s efforts that exceeds the requirements of their position.
Visibility – of the cause and of the Nominee’s efforts so that others may be inspired.
Impact – what progress/success has the Nominee's efforts made to promote awareness of or improve their cause.
Leadership/Community – how is the Nominee inspiring others to get involved and create community involvement.
Brand Ambassador - is the Nominee aligned with the GLOW Getter Project's mission and brand.
